Total Slacker
I will raise my hand on that one! I've slacked on my blog, and I have so much to post, just haven't been able to find time to do it.
please forgive me! Now that summer is coming or came to an end I will have more time on my hands to blog.

I can't imagine, how does one deal with the death of their child
knowing their other child is the cause?

I'm home!
I'm back from my trip to DC, and it was a great time.
I drove myself the 6 1/2hrs there and back, it actually wasn't a bad drive at all. Driving through the mountains really keeps you concentrated on the road ahead, before I knew it I was half way there. I did manage to get myself lost on the way there, to which I called Amanda and she was able to steer me in the right direction. And well, I did also get lost on the way back, but thanks for my google maps on my blackberry I was able to get back in the right direction, twice!!
As for the trip, wow, it was great and I can't wait to have the opportunity to do it again. Amanda and Steven were amazingly gracious for allowing me to stay with them. They have the cutest dog Zuma that was so playful and fun. I got to tour DC, which was so neat. I've never been into history lessons, but actually being there was really fun. Amanda and I got a chance to visit Nicole and her new addition to their family, Austin. I just wanted to pack him up and take him home with me, I LOVE his mo-hawk. Thank you Nicole for allowing us to invade your house, so soon after delivering that bundle of joy.
I also got to meet a few other girls, Annie and Claire, in Georgetown for some Cupcakes. We sat around for a while, just eating our delicious cupcakes and chit chatting, I hope to do that again sometime soon. We were also supposed to meet up with Renee, but she was unable to join, and she was surely missed. Also thank you to Amanda's husband Steven, for showing us around the Capital building, wow the history in that place was amazing!
Overall it was a great trip, from beginning to end, I hope someday soon to return and hang out with everyone again. I did take my new camera with me, and I have LOTS of pictures to upload. I took at least 2 shots of everything just in case something didn't turn out on the first try! I hope to have them loaded and shared on here soon.

Off to DC
I will be MIA for a few days, I leave tomorrow for a trip to DC!!
I'm meeting up with my friend Amanda, and will also be meeting our friend Annie! So excited. Amanda just got a new camera also, so we are going to 'play cameras', see some sights and get some of these famous CupCakes I keep hearing about.
I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Deer Encounter
While making my way around Veteran's park I came across some deer, I can't believe how close they came. At one point I walked away because I was feeling uncomfortable, a dove keep inching closer and closer, so I decided I had enough.
